Check out BSY's Spotify playlist and let's do the work!
Bow is one of the basic backbends for you to play with in acro. If you are the flyer, make sure you are warming up your spine by practicing Bow pose on the floor first. Once you feel confident in reaching back and grabbing your ankles on the ground, you can attempt doing it in the air! As for most acro poses, you will want to make sure your base’s feet are placed comfortably on your hip bones/ lower abdomen. If you are the base, be sure to think of your feet as pressing into gas peddles. Whenever you feel your flyer moving forward, press into your toes to restrain them from falling forward. You’d rather your flyer fall back onto their feet rather than forward on their face ;)
