I love teaching and practicing yoga & mindfulness. I teach a yoga practice that is functional and supports my students' both physically & mentally as they navigate activities of daily living 'off of the mat.' My teaching is largely informed by my background in nursing as I specialize in providing anatomically accessible & functional patterns of movement in each practice; also informed by my love for meditation as I consistently infuse lessons from the greater context of yoga (which transcends beyond the physical postures) into each practice. I want my students to be able to apply the lessons as they move their body safely throughout the day and approach each situation with a little more zen. When I am not practicing yoga, I love spending time with my family, connecting with nature, riding my motorcycle, and creating art!
