Brett Haginas
I am a yoga teacher and birth doula in Austin. I have been practicing and studying yoga for a decade, and have a deep passion for teaching classes that encourage curiosity and self-compassion on the mat. In my classes you can expect a blend of yoga philosophy, intelligent sequencing, playfulness, and a sprinkle of humor! I lead public classes, mentorships, teacher trainings, workshops, and university courses at St. Edward’s in yoga. I completed my 200 hour teacher training in 2014 at Yoga Yoga, and my 300 hour teacher training in 2018 at Laughing Lotus NYC. In 2021, I graduated from the Waking Yoga 100 hour trauma informed training under the guidance of Jenn Wooten. Additionally, I have studied Ayurveda, Yin & Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Prenatal Yoga, Philosophy, and Therapeutics. When I am not teaching, I love to spend my time at concerts, trying new restaurants in Austin, vintage shopping, traveling, and sewing!

Spinal Movement Series Intro
In this four part series we will move through the four different spinal movements: forward bending, back bending, side bending, and twisting. These classes can be practiced at any time of the day, and there is no particular order that you need to watch them in. Enjoy!

Joyful Backbends
In this practice we will work on opening the front line of the body and strengthening our backs through backbends and heart openers!
